A family run business the core members of staff are...

Dave Crossman

After saying to his brother Pete, when he bought his Series "What do you want one of those for?, they're slow, leak everywhere and they're draughty" he bought an even worse Series 109 a few months later. Well if you can't beat them, join them. That was the start of a long association with Land Rovers. He now drives, and regularly tries to break, a Discovery Pickup and a Defender 130. Dave heads up the Bombproof range of products with his experience within the engineering, production and fabrication industry.

Lynsey Crossman

Daves' wife as well as a busy mother but amazingly she still finds time for the occasional spot of off-roading in her Discovery Td5, running on BFG ATs, a 198BHP intercooler conversion which surprises more than few hatchbacks, and a Safari snorkel. Lynsey runs stock control and business marketing.

Ken Crossman

The Dad of the family, he's a Chartered Manager with the Chartered Institute of Management. He is now a full-time member of the team overlooking the general management of the business bringing his extensive management expertise . He drives a Discovery I with a standard height uprated suspension handling kit, larger intercooler and modified fuel pump and a set of BFG AT's.

Brenda Solly

Behind the scenes, it's Brenda who maintains the Accounting System and Book-keeping. Bringing her wealth of knowledge and expertise, she keeps Dave's spending under control - as long as he doesn't mess up her desk!

Carl Harrison

Carl heads up the workshop servicing, repairing and modifying the various vehicles we deal with. As a fully trained technician with previous BMW experience he loves working on the Range Rover P38 models.
