4x4RNE is the non-profit, volunteer based group dedicated to the task of assisting the Emergency Services and existing Search and Rescue teams of North East England with the help of our members and their 4x4 vehicles in any weather or on any terrain, 24 hours a day seven days a week.
The 4x4 UK website is owned managed and run by a dedicated band of off road enthusiasts and anyone interested in off roading or 4x4 vehicles is welcome to join the forum or post wanted or for sale adverts for 4x4 related items. They organise all types of off-road and 4x4 events and cater for all levels of skill and experience.

The Discovery Owners Club was set up in 2000 by a number of British enthusiasts to promote interest in the use and preservation of the Land Rover Discovery, the UK's most popular medium-sized 4x4. Since that time, the club has gone from strength to strength, and now boasts over 1000 members.

North East 4x4 is a regional club recognised by the RAC motor sport association and caters for all makes and types of off road vehicles.
Tynemouth Volunteer Life Brigade
The Tynemouth Volunteer Life Brigade are a voluntary coastal rescue service operating from Tynemouth on the North East Coast of England in the fields of cliff rescue, breeches buoy rescue and coastal search and rescue. They work closely with the local RNLI lifeboats, but do not have a boat.

Weardale offroad cente offers offroad pay and play days twice per month on two seperate sites. They also offer expert offroad tuition, stag and hen days and a variety of other outdoor activities. A great day out.
